Special Event: BOOK SWAP! Meet Up and Stitch @ La Casa Restaurant!

Book Swaps | Next Sunday, April 12

Timing: We’ll arrive at 8am and allow time for breakfast (and stitching). Book swapping will start at about 9 am.

Swaps are Optional: You do not have to participate in any of the swaps to join us. If you’re interested, see the details below.

Book Swaps: We’ll have 4 – you can participate in 1, 2, 3, 4, or none of the swaps.
How Each Swap Will Work: We’ll pass the books around speed-dating style and if you’re interested in it, you write your name on the back or slip of paper inside the cover. Once everyone has seen each book, we draw who gets each book from the list of interested names. You can only win one book from each swap.

Book Guidelines: what to bring…

Swap #1. Gently used book. Wrapped. Fiction; preferably not romance. Write genre and brief plot description on the front.

Swap #2. Gently used book. Un-wrapped. Fiction or Non-Fiction. Add a piece of paper inside the cover.

Swap #3: New book valued at $8-$14. Wrapped. Fiction or Non-Fiction. Write genre and brief description on the front.

Swap #4. New book valued at $15-$20. Un-wrapped. Fiction or Non-Fiction. Add a piece of paper inside the cover.

Tips: Keep it fun and light. Consider craft books, activity books, humor, adventure, hobbies, and art. Use Google or Goodreads if you need help with the brief description.
